چکیده
As an advanced oxidative processes, the Fenton process is receiving popularity as a wastewater treatment technique that can be used for hazardous landfill leachate. The simple, yet involves complex interactions between affecting parameters including reaction time, H2O2/Fe2+ ratio, pH, and iron (II) ion concentration. Hence, purpose of this present study was to analyze factors leachate well their interaction by means response surface methodology (RSM) with central composite design. independent variables were concentration, dependent variable (response) color-removal percentage. optimum conditions Fe2+ time 8.36, 3.32, 964.95 mg/L, 50.15 min, respectively. model predicted 100% color removal in conditions, which close obtained from experiment (97.68%). In conclusion, optimized using RSM approach promotes efficient even higher than already reported.

Optimization of US-Electropersulfate Process for Leachate Treatment by Response Surface Methodology
Introduction: Chemical Oxidation Demand (COD) is an important parameter in treatment of leachate. Leachate from solid waste has a high pollutants that must be treatment before discharge to environment. The aim of this study was optimization of US-Electro/persulfate process, predicate of optimum conditions by RSM for landfill leachate treatment. Methods and materials: In this experimental st...
متن کاملPolluting potential of post-Fenton products in landfill leachate treatment
Fenton process, as one of the most conventional advanced oxidation processes, is widely used in the treatment of specific wastewaters, especially landfill leachate. In current study, the main target was to evaluate some neglected aspects of Fenton process in operational applications. Thus, three novel responses were introduced. Mass removal efficiency evaluates overall recalcitrant destruction ...
متن کاملTreatment of mature landfill leachate by chemical precipitation and Fenton advanced oxidation process
Background: Mature landfill leachate is a complicated mixture which is resistant to biological treatment processes. The treatment of mature landfill leachate by struvite precipitation and Fenton oxidation was the main objective of the current research. Methods: Struvite with the phosphate/ammonia/magnesium molar ratio of 1/1/1.05 was considered during all experiments. Five initial pHs of 3, 4,...
